ActivConnect G (Android OS) goes to sleep when not in use. The system may not wake up on touch.
Update your ActivPannel Firmware to the latest version.
In this update
ActivConnect G when connected to HDMI 3, can be put into standby, and woken back up by a simple touch of the screen.
- Under the “HDMI Settings” menu item on the ActivPanel, ensure that HDMI Standby is set to “On”.

Firmware upgrades should be carried out using a computer that is connected directly to the interactive display device, bypassing any connection plates or wall boxes, using a 3m USB cable. If you are unsure about performing the firmware upgrade, please contact Promethean Technical Customer Support.
Click the ActivManager icon in your system tray or toolbar and select Control Panel.
Ensure you are using ActivDriver version 5.12 or above. The ActivDriver version can be found at the bottom of this window.
Should you need to update your ActivDriver, please download the latest version before proceeding.
Installing the firmware file
Ensure the Hardware tab is selected then select the ActivPanel. Click Upgrade.
Select Internet and click Load.
Locate your documentation or check your product code to obtain the size of your ActivPanel, and select the relevant firmware file in the popup. If you are unsure about performing the firmware upgrade, please contact Promethean Technical Customer Support. Installing incorrect firmware can damage your ActivPanel.
Click Yes to proceed.
The ActivPanel will switch into firmware update mode, and the progress bar will advance from 0% to 100%. A confirmation dialog opens; click OK then Close.
